In 2021, Trevor Jones unveiled a partnership that captured the attention of both the art and crypto communities. Merging the worlds of luxury and digital art, he linked an NFT to a coveted cask of 1991 Macallan’s whisky. This innovative venture not only dominated headlines but also set a new world record, with the cask fetching an impressive $2.3 million.

Castle Party 2023: A Tribute to Art, Legacy and Charity

From September 3 to 5, 2023, Château de Vallery near Paris hosted the Castle Party 2023. Organized by Trevor Jones and MakersPlace, the event celebrated the life and work of the late crypto artist, Alotta Money, known offstage as Philippe Fatoux.

The art community deeply felt the loss of Alotta Money, who tragically passed away from cancer on March 3rd, 2022. In his honor, 30 distinguished artists, including the likes of Pak, Jose Delbo, and Bryan Brinkman, presented artworks inspired by his legacy.

The heart of the event was charity. Art sales proceeds went to Maggie’s, an organization supporting families affected by cancer.

The event was meticulously planned: attendees were offered a 24-hour exhibit preview on September 1, setting the stage for the auction that commenced on September 2 at 3pm BST. The bidding concluded on September 8, concluding an event that highlighted the intersection of art and philanthropy.

• Refik Anadol and the Yawanawa family will release the "Winds of Yawanawa" collection, inspired by Amazonian Rainforest data, on September 30th. Since its announcement, the collection's value has risen to 3.95 ETH on OpenSea.

• Mercedes-Benz's NXT initiative announces the "Era of Luxury" collection, minting on September 5 with 2,694 digital art collectibles, including diverse vehicle designs and card aesthetics.

• Doodles, has teamed up with Crocs to introduce a limited edition collection, with an exclusive 24-hour presale for OG Holders started on August 28th, followed by a 48-hour public sale commencing on August 29th.

• Artists Ryan Koopmans and Alice Wexell unveiled the third chapter of their series 'The Wild Within' titled "The Enchanted Hour." This dynamic 1/1 artwork, inspired by a 400-year-old Italian villa, was crafted in collaboration with TransientLabs.

• Transient Labs announced the snapshot for Snoop's Passport at 4:20PDT/7:20EST, urging collectors to secure their Passport if they aim to acquire art from artists Coldie, ALIENQUEENNFT, and Terrelldom.

• Jack Butcher and gillesdc introduced "Divina Proportione," an artwork tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci. By August 30, the piece, part of Jack's Opepen Set 15, had a starting price of 0.85 ETH.

• On August 29, 2023, LiveArt announced that all Boundless NFT collectors can now purchase a 30*40 CM physical print signed by Yue Minjun for 0.8 ETH, inclusive of shipping.

• From Sep 3-5, 2023, Trevor Jones hosted the Castle Party 2023 in France, collaborating with MakersPlace for a charity auction in memory of the late crypto artist, Alotta Money, with proceeds going to Maggie’s cancer support.
